Rare OneSixtyToOne Posted August 30, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2022 (edited) The zoo is right at the beach. There is a small but impressive art museum downtown. The courthouse has a bell tower with a great view as well as an historic mural room. Stearn’s Wharf has shops, restaurants, and a small aquarium. State Street is their main street. Many shops and restaurants along this quaint and historic business district. Last but not least, the old mission. Thx A bit of an off the wall suggestion but if you've been to SB before or are looking for a unique, super relaxing afternoon with a great lunch and gorgeous surroundings, take an Uber up to San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito-- about $15 each way and a quick ride. It's where JFK and Jackie honeymooned. Beautiful gardens and the restaurant is superb-- worth it for their famous tortilla soup alone.
Rare blizzard44ca Posted September 14, 2022 #5 Share Posted September 14, 2022 If you’re interested in wine, but not interested in travelling, there are many wineries with tasting rooms within walking distance from the pier.
