Are the Affogato with liqueur in Gelato on Discovery included in drink package?

Cruising soon and saw they have Affogato in Gelato on a menu from 04/22...just curious if they are included in the drink package since they have alcohol in them...I know it works that way with Celebrity, but haven't been on Princess for a bit.  Thanks!!

I don't know!  But since nobody else has posted yet,  my complete guess is - Gelato is not covered, so pay for Gelato and get the shot of liquor with the package?

Believe the answer is no. Affogato is mainly a cookie and gelato with espresso or some liqueur pored over it. It's mainly a food item and not a beverage. Food items are excluded from the beverage package.

• The package excludes and is not combinable with other Programs, Promotions, Onboard Specials, or Events such as Wine Tastings, Chef’s Table, Buckets of Beer, Specialty Dining cover charges, or food items for sale such as ice cream, etc.

I am guessing you are both right...no worries. Plenty of other options and I have some OBC that I can use for at least one :)!!  Thanks!!

Worst case, you can get your free espresso and liquor from a bar with your package and then just pay for the gelato and pour the liquid over it.
