Trapper44 Posted September 3, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2022 We are looking at several cruises. Most of the cruises we are looking at are 7-day or 14 -day trips. HAL has already combined some of them. We are looking at a 14-day and a 28-day trip as HAL has them set up. Do you get the $200 and the $300 excursion credit or is it just the $300 credit? Also, with the latest HIA package there is OBC. Would we get the total or a smaller amount? Checking the website, we could get the same cabin for the entire time. If we book, with two different booking numbers, could we still leave our luggage in the room?
CruiserBruce Posted September 3, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 3, 2022 If you book with booking number, you only get one set of OBC, and will get the same room. You wouldn't pack or anything like that, when the second cruise approaches. If you book as two cruises, two booking numbers, you get two sets of OBC, one for each cruise. Getting the same cabin is possible, but there is the possibility you will have to change rooms. Your room stewards will help you move. All of this is discussed here quite frequently. If you make your "own" B2B by booking the same (or different) cabin, you will get the individual perks and bennies. If you take a HAL combined cruise, often called a "Collectors' Cruise" you will get just the one set -- which could be better or not. But the price for the cruise might (or not) be better for the CC. Yes on the luggage in the room. Just be sure to inform your stewards! Also, here is a thread that supports your financial statement being 'rolled over' and not needing to balance out at end of the first cruise. I have the same situation next Dec/Jan. Two cruises, same cabin.
