No more Guinness or New Castle on NCL?

Was on Jewel this Aug.  Not a Guinness or New Castle to be found!  Is that fleet wide now?  The other two NCL trips we have taken had both.  One of the reasons we choose NCL those other two times.

I had a Guinness on the Encore last week in the District Brewhouse. It was canned but since I poured it myself the proper way it had a nice head.

Finally, a thread about something truly important!!!  Several years ago, Epic had NewCastle on tap at O'Shehans and I could also get cans of Guinness Draught (the ones with the widget) at the pool bar.  I couldn't get either last fall.  This year, I was able to get Guinness on tap in the District on the Encore.  I really want to see that continue.

I presume you are referring to NEWCASTLE Pale Ale as in the city in England.

I only drink Porters and Stouts and the random scotch ale so I feel you.

Our next NCL is on Joy, so I guess there should be some at the District.  It sure would be nice if they had it everywhere like they used to though.

Correct!  About the least hoppy beer there is next to Guinness!  Well, at least the label posted.  The new "reimagined" Newcastle that we get in America now is a tiny hoppy along the lines of a regular Sam Adams.

Interesting stuff.  I only drink Newcastle when I can't get Guinness.  Fortunately, as others have mentioned, we can get Guinness at least on some NCL ships now.

We had also had Newcastle on draft in O'Shehan's but that was 2019. I'm sure hoping i can get a decent draft on the Breakaway in a few months 🙂

Had some Guinness on the Star in July. Didn't see any NBA, but I wasn't seeking it out so may have missed it.

On the Escape in July Newcastle in the bottle, Guinness in the can, and Guinness on tap were available in the brewhouse. Photos in the everything Prima thread show Newcastle on tap.
