tory707 Posted September 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 10, 2022 We are trying to schedule our dinners on celebrity edge fothe southern Caribbean & Panama Canal 11 night cruise. We like going to the main dining rooms for the welcome & farewell dinners (yes lobster). So I’m trying to find out what nights they occure? Does anyone know? Rare cruisestitch Posted September 10, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 10, 2022 Celebrity doesn’t really do special welcome and farewell dinners. You are better off looking for the dinners they serve on the evening chic nights
jelayne Posted September 10, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2022 No welcome or farewell dinners. On a 11 N itinerary there will be 3 Evening Chic night. Normally Lobster is served on the final EC night. On a 11N sailing the last EC night frequently is night 10. That can vary particularly if 10 has a late departure time from a port. Rare NutsAboutGolf Posted September 10, 2022 #4 Share Posted September 10, 2022 They usually have prime rib on the first night so many avoid making specially dining reservations on the first night
GORDONCHICK Posted September 13, 2022 #5 Share Posted September 13, 2022 Is there a place where I can find menus for specialties and DMRs? And on an 8 night cruise, are the 2 or 3 chic nights? I searched the X site and didn't find answers to either.

Not sure if this holds true for all sailings but even our 12 night only had 2 chic nights.
Rare cruisestitch Posted September 13, 2022 #7 Share Posted September 13, 2022 My last twelve night cruise had three. And prime rib was on night two, not night one.

Yeah, and prime rib night isn't a night I would want to miss. We were friends with several NCL HDs, so I would just email one of them (sometimes the one who would be on our sailing) and they would send entire menus labeled with which day they would be so we'd know which night or nights to book in a specialty. That was quite handy. There used to be a search function you could use on here and I can't seem to find it. Looking both on computer or phone. Is it gone or would someone show me where it is? They are on the app. If your cruise is still fairly far out you may need to look at the same ship, same or similar itinerary. All the specialty restaurants should remain stable, but until close to your sail date there could be some slight variation for the MDR.

I didn't know that would be on the app until a few posts later. Our cruise is over a year out.
