Rare Vampiress88 Posted September 12, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2022 So in April 21 and Nov 21 we booked for iona. Picked what I thought would be a great cabin 15717 using this online deck plan. https://www.pocruises.com/content/dam/po/pdfs/ships/2020-Iona-deck-plans.pdf I then found out that this cabin was shaded. i sent an email to p&o basically the reply I got was that they could see that the plans didn’t show shaded, that they have now updated it (which is good) but that all details are subject to change. I’ve had to pay extra £72 on both cruises so I can have a balcony that’s not shaded. Feel a bit missold. https://www.pocruises.com/content/dam/po/pdfs/ships/2022-Iona-deck-plans.pdf

The problem is you have to go to the time and trouble of challenging them which is usually more than the fee to move and they know it. I would be annoyed too. The problem is all the lines now have very one sided terms and conditions so not a straw to draw between most of them. Pay it then forget it and enjoy the cruise on your nice sunny balcony.
