garyc20 Posted September 16, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2022 Well I caught Covid on Insignia Le Havre to New York cruise. Luckily it was the day after Lisbon when we were going straight to New York and not stopping in Azores because of the two hurricanes. My wife was negative and was moved to another cabin. The ships staff gets a A+ with the way I was treated. The Infectious Disease Officer checked on me 2 times per day, 24 Hour Room Service including Grand Dining Room, and High Speed internet. I had very mild symptoms. Oceania took great care of us. 8

Rare Host Jazzbeau Posted September 17, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2022 Sorry you got Covid, but thanks so much for this positive report about onboard treatment. Another big plus for Oceania!
khuselid Posted September 17, 2022 #4 Share Posted September 17, 2022 my husband also got Covid on our 32 day Iceland to London cruise. He tested positive 6 days before cruise end. I was moved to another room and was free to roam. He was really taken well care of, 2 visits a day as well as calls from doctor, anything he wanted to eat and housekeeping was awesome as well. He just tested negative this morning in time for us to take the bus to the airport. Sorry you got sick!
don731 Posted September 17, 2022 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2022 Our recent covid experience on Riviera was less than perfect. Mostly handled well, but disembarking in Malta was a cluster.
