The cruise ship luggage tag does not have any personal information. It has spaces for: NAME EMBARKATION DATE/PORT SHIP STATEROOM LUGGAGE DOOR/DECK (which is an internal designation and means nothing to the passenger.) Your own personal luggage tags for the airline bag check.

We always place an envelope in an easy to get into outside pocket with our contact information on it, but only with phone numbers and email addresses, and never any hint of where we live. On that envelope we write in big letters: "Contact Information" so they won't have to look through the rest of the case. Last few years I’ve put our email and cell phone in place of address. But, those name tags still have a place for an address.
DrivesLikeMario Posted September 19, 2022 #30 Share Posted September 19, 2022 Us too. Inside each bag is contact information - never our home address. Best way to contact us is cell phones or email. The cruise tag lets everyone that touches your luggage or looks at it, know you'll be gone for an extended time.

Without vacation information, no one will know if you are leaving home or returning. A visible cruise ship luggage tag provides too much information to those who might try to take advantage of it.

We used to use those and just use the envelope in a pocket now.
Coffeeluvr05 Posted September 19, 2022 #35 Share Posted September 19, 2022 We always put our cruise tags on after getting bags from the luggage carousel. We have them pre-loaded into plastic holders. We also have apple air tags hidden in our luggage so we can track the location of our luggage with our phones. 😉

I found the JPG copy of the Itinerary Notification form to print itinerary info on the backside & to follow the folding instructions (same as for the Princess tags) to insert the itinerary into the tag holder for flights in case bags get misplaced. If you click on this form you could save & print it for future usage. Edited September 21, 2022 by Astro Flyer
