Rare teacherman Posted March 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2006 We are scheduled for a "special" 6 night itenerary on Zenith leaving Miami on Thursday, April 13. Has anyone had a recent itenerary change on Zenith? Some of my friends on another line had Grand Cayman dropped and another Mexican port added (they were happy). Also, if you have tendered into Grand Cayman from Zenith, do you think we can make a 9:30 private tour if we anchor at 8:00? Thanks for any info. Kathy & George Posted March 3, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2006 Hi, we are on the same sail...check out the roll call for that date. I can't answer about the port changes, sorry. We, as a group, are planning a CC party of our own...join us.
Merrilymeggily Posted March 3, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 3, 2006 Hi, Kathy and George... are you the Kathy and George who have cruised X with my friends Laura and Rick from Philadelphia? Just curious.
Rare Lois R Posted March 3, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 3, 2006 Teacherman, hi:) I am also on this sailing! Hi Kathy;) Come say hello over on the Roll Call board:) As to your excursion question.....normally private excursions are quite flexible when it comes to what time the ship will be in port. You should make your 9:30 time but you might want to stay in touch with whoever you are using. If they know they have certain people booked from a certain ship (in this case Zenith) I would think there would be a time frame. Hope this helps:) Hope to see you over on the Roll Call! Rare Host Anne Posted March 3, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 3, 2006 Teacherman ~ if the "other line" you are referring to is Princess and the ship is the "Grand," the itinerary change is due to a problem with the Grand that has yet to be fixed ... making it impossible speed wise to make Grand Cayman as planned. You should be able to make a 9:30 excursion.... ENJOY....we leave next SATURDAY !!!!! :)

larkowitz Posted March 6, 2006 #7 Share Posted March 6, 2006 Hi Kathy, no need to send me the email with the link, as you can see I found it. Yes that's my best friend Meg, for a minute Rick and I were thinking that one of our dinner mates from the last cruise found you. We were speculating as to which one's. ocngypz Posted March 6, 2006 #8 Share Posted March 6, 2006 If you anchor at 8am, you will have to wait for the Grand Cayman gov't to clear the ship before tendering starts. Then those who have excursions booked through the cruiseline will be tendered first. You will not be allowed to tender until free tender is called. If you are booked in a suite, suites are given priority tendering.
