App Chat feature

Does this feature work well?  Some in our group are wondering.  
 

Didn’t realize it was a beta test when used it on the Harmony prior to cruise shut down.  Was spotty then. Any experienced users since?

We used it a little on Liberty in late August.   It doesn't beep at you or vibrate to alert you.  If your phone is on with app then you will see an alert in the 3 dots top right corner of the app.  If your phone is on something else, no alert.   It worked for us.  Dh hardly uses his phone so leaving on app was ok for him.
