FLL on US Thanksgiving

DW and I are flying into Fort Lauderdale on US Thanksgiving and staying at the Conrad.  Flight arrives around 14:00.  Any suggestions as to where to eat.  Not too worried about "Black Friday" as we are sure Las Olas will be hopping, but are concerned we won't find many options on the actual holiday.  Any suggestions?

Quarterdeck has a history of being open on Thanksgiving. There’s a fairly convenient location for you on Las Olas, on the beach side of the Intercoastal. In the past, that location has opened @ 4pm. https://www.facebook.com/quarterdeckfortlauderdalebeach/
 

The Floridian, also on Las Olas, though west of the Intercoastal should also be open.

 

I wouldn’t be surprised if Shooters was open as well

The Conrad restaurants may be open too.  Just give them a call.

Chop Suey Palace will definitely be open.

I would expect many more restaurants would be open on Thanksgiving than on Christmas.  That's been my experience locally.

Lulu's Bait Shack is our go to spot when we stay at the Hilton just next to the Conrad.  It's an easy walk and you should find several places to eat along the way.

The hotels/resorts by the beach would be your best option. Check with the restaurants like Capital Grille over by the Galleria Mall also as you may find something there.  Can tell you from living several years living in FLL....Las Olas is a ghost town on Thanksgiving.

 We have stayed at the DT GALLERYone and eaten at the Capital Grille.  It is really good.   Also loved Anna's Coffee Shop across the street.
