Can we leave the ship after we have checked in? I thought we could, but my husband thinks we can't.

It is my understanding that you may leave the ship as long as you return before the designated time.

I agree with you but a lot of people do it when the ships have real late departures such as Puerto Rico. In many cases you can get on the ship early afternoon and you don't leave until 10:30P.M. I can understand getting off the ship and walking into the areas of San Juan near the ship such as the fort and the shopping.

I guess there were folks who did tours or just went into town.

Me? Nope;) Exploring a new ship, meeting new staff and crew, finding

those new lounges and bars:D .....

I chose to stay on the ship:)

We'll be cruising with 2 young children, so we want to go get diapers and other supplies instead of lugging it on the plane.
