Boutique itinerary cruises. What B2B cruise possibilities does Celebrity offer?

We enjoy cruising with Celebrity, but seem to be drifting towards Princess and a few of NCL’s more exotic longer cruises to Africa, Antarctica and Longyearbyen when deciding on future cruise itineraries. We prefer 3-5 week cruises, so booking Celebrity B2B cruises is pretty much our only option.

Since cruising restarted, we’ve seen enough of the Caribbean and Med to last us for awhile and just finished a great B2B on the Summit to Canada, Greenland and Iceland and back. We’re also looking forward next year to a 33-day B3B Transpacific cruise on the Eclipse from Sydney to Vancouver along with a 10-day Galapagos cruise on the Flora. But after that, we’re at a loss.

Any ideas what might be some of the more unique itineraries Celebrity has to offer that we are overlooking? 🤔

Have you looked at the Solstice in March/April ‘24? She’s coming out of Hong Kong, going to Australia and then heading off on the Transpacific - and the stops on the Transpacific are a bit different than the Tahitian Treasures itinerary - less French Polys/NZ, more Fiji/Somas. Plus you could always tag the Hawaii cruise on to that as well if you wanted more time.

I sincerely wish we could spend more time on the Solstice in ‘24, but work will only give us so much time off.

Believe it or not we’ve booked the 2018 and the 2024 Celebrity B2B cruise you’re referencing twice. Then we switched to the HAL Zaandam in 2018 and to the Princess Sapphire for our second cruise there in 2024. The big difference was that both HAL and Princess offered 4 days cruising around the Peninsula rather than the 2 days Celebrity offers.

As far as Australia goes, if they would offer an Australia B2B circumnavigation cruise, like they used to, that would definitely be an option to consider.

Thanks! That has potential in the out years since we’re currently going on our 33-day Eclipse B3B from Sydney to Vancouver by way of Hawaii in Apr-May 2023.

Back in 2015 we did an awesome B2B on the Eclipse which included a 10 day Canary Islands cruise RT from Southampton followed by a 15-day transatlantic by way of Halifax, Boston and NYC winding up in Ft Lauderdale. On that cruise we were truly wowed by the CD Eddy Jenkins along with the continual comedic appearances of Jayne Curry on both legs!

Unfortunately, that was our first and only Celebrity transatlantic B2B cruise. But since we have so much fun on a Celebrity cruise, maybe I need to focus on creating a B2B cruise that includes a transatlantic out of Southampton (shortest flight from our home to Europe) and include a cruise to maybe Norway or to countries on the Iberian coast line?

WAY back when, I'm sure that Celebrity used to put together a booklet with 8x10 color glossy photographs with circles and arrows and paragraphs ... oops, wrong venue ... and lines that showed all of their routes for the season, much as the airlines did in the back of their in-flight magazines.  Has anyone seen anything remotely like that in recent history, even in electronic form?

Totally understand. Hoping that Celebrity repeats that set of sailings later ourselves.

The Edge also had some nice sailings with her repo from the Med to Australia in ‘23 - maybe another option.

Good luck in your hunt.
