Italian sandwiches on Mardi Gras

Italian sandwiches are one of my favorite foods. I haven't been on Mardi Gras yet, but I've seen that Emeril's has a muffuletta, and Piazza Panini has the Salumeria and some others. Has anyone tried these? How are they? Kind of a bummer that they are only on the one ship.

People seem to really like the muffuletta. I couldn't bring myself to try his version - we only had a week on the ship. Hopefully his restaurant on Celebration will also offer and I'll give it a try. I know I love the original that Central Grocery offers.

I tried both on MG and the muffuletta was so good!  My mom and I split it, it was that sizable.  I had the Salumeria on a later day in our MG cruise and it was very good, I just couldn't it all of it.  I also had the Bananas Foster crepes at Emeril's and it was delish!  I wish I would have eaten more meals at Emeril's.  Do try Big Chicken because their chicken sandwich is the bomb!

Have a great cruise!
