Princess does not provide sofas

I am very surprised that reviews never mention the fact that Princess ships (and I have been on several) provide no sofas in their regular cabins i.e inside, ocean view, or even balcony cabins. Only premium balconies, mini suites, and suites. This is not the case on other cruise lines. So basically, if you want to be comfortable and watch TV in your cabin you will need to pay extra for it. Strange. Princess is very plain jane.

The space they need for a sofa is used instead for the spacious closet.  Yes, it is well known and bemoaned on the Princess board that there are no sofas, and they even removed the barrel chair.  EM

The new Sun Princess has been announced to have sofas in balcony cabins.  When I saw a picture I thought it was a typical mini suite.
