Following and loving your review, but am a bit confused about the pic that seems to be addressed to non-Galveston guests, but then goes on to say that Galveston residents who are “approved” to stay at the hotel will be assessed a $250 deposit.  Is this a Texas thing (I know you’re from Oklahoma)?  Do residents of a Texas county need approval to stay at a hotel in their own county and then put down a deposit for the privilege?

I think this has to do with booking a room to party so a fee is charged to not trash the place. I think.

Got in Pleasure Pier. We did not buy the all access. Each of us will ride one ride. The girls are gonna do the regular swings. We are checking it all out now. My oldest says it’s a “broke Six Flags”. 😆 still fun. We are on a pier over water.

So...I was in the Navy and you keep mentioning this pleasure pier...I have been there and it wasn't in Galveston

Video on my IG story. This is fun but definitely makes my kids appreciate our Six Flags passes. We rode the super swing ride at Fiesta Texas last summer. Me and each girl… Colton wasn’t tall enough. DH still won’t ride it.

Briley wanted to go back down to the beach. I’ll never say no to that. We chased some crabs. She had fun. Colton came too. Brinkley didn’t want her feet dirty again. Once they saw one little crab..  we had to have the flashlight on the whole time. They didn’t want their toes pinched by lil bitty spider size crabs.
