It's not a serious question - Greg is funny.  Although once we were in Boston for the UCF at Boston College game (many years ago) and a bus driver asked us the same question. He also didn't know Boston College had a football team so 🤷‍♀️

🤣🤣🤣

I know. I know. UCF Bulls.

My number one complaint about Carnival ships is the sports bars aren't nearly big enough! And the overflow goes to Red Frog Pub (on ships that have them) and they don't have enough TVs in there - or they only have two or three games on them.

What the heck??

Megan, I'm so sad "our" cruise is over! I've had so much fun following along. My niece got married on the Dream 11 years ago in Port Canaveral. We went to the wedding on the ship but didn't stay on for the cruise (we had a UCF home football game the same week - we don't miss home games). I thought it was a beautiful ship.

I’m really not sure how they got off the ship with it. I thought wagons weren’t allowed on the gangway. So I have no idea. Didn’t know shantytown cruisers were a thing.

I’m also please to announce, I only gained 2 lbs on this cruise…. Even though I’m sure I consumed 10 lbs of bread. 😆

Awesome!!  2 pounds is great!  Are you planning on reviewing the Scarlett Lady?  If so, would you please post a link on this thread?  TIA!!

I think I am. 😆 Hopefully that board will be as responsive as this one. I’ll definitely post the link. Thanks.

I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be heaven on Earth.

Pretty dang close. And don't be shy about the free sparkling during sailaway -- they'll keep bringing it to you for as long as you want it. Was easily 90+ minutes for me earlier this summer.

Following.

I found this review a little late, but I'm glad I did.

Your reviews and photos are amazing.

I have a lot to catch up on reading.

We've been on Carnival Dream on inaugural season.

This thread is bringing back some good memories.

Do they still have the restaurant grill at the back of

the ship??   Used to be one of our favorite spots to get hot

Pastrami sandwiches.  They were out of this world.

Thank you.

Yes, the deli is at the back buffet in the middle. Great steak sandwiches. Like a Philly cheesesteak. Thanks for reading along.

Does he only work during comedy and karaoke then? Seems like they usually have to work more hours than that

I’m thinking its those plus dining time. I’ll ask more questions when I talk to him. I wasn’t trying to interrupt his sleeping time as he’s adjusting still to the 13 hour difference and his 2+ days of flying.

MeganGC,

I was just wondering, while you were at Half Moon Cay, did you happen to see if they have started any of the construction for the new pier and resort area. I remember seeing that they were going to add a pier, but I don't remember if I saw a start date or completion date. Just wondering.

Thanks,

I actually did not. Nothing that looked even close.
