Would anyone know what we should expect to pay for a taxi from Tampa airport to the port embarkation.  We have been quoted over $200 from Celebrity and wanted to check if this is a fair price.

Well it's only 10.5 miles from airport to cruise terminal, so I'm thinking it's a little bit high. The flat rate taxi fare is $28 for this trip.

A quick way to determine fare is to go into Uber or Lyft and do a mock booking.

 

I just did a dummy Uber booking and get  UberX   27.94   and Uber XL 35.37  It is possible with surge pricing the price could go up but seems reasonable.

 

I'm making an assumption that you are cruising out of Tampa Cruise Terminal.

They are estimating $28.00   the distance is approximately 16 KM
