1. What rccl ship are you cruising on? Rhapsody of the Seas

2. What islands are your ports? Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman and Cozumel

3. What's the date of your cruise? :) October 1st

3. Why did you choose October to Cruise? October is my favorite time of year for many reasons. The weather is still warm but not too warm. There are usually less children on board. My birthday is October 6th and the prices are usually lower in October, and its at the tail end of the Huricane season. Last year, though, that was not the case, we were in the middle of Wilma and went to Tampa Bay instead of Jamaica and Grand Caymen. We're hoping our luck is better this year. We had a fabulous time and if we just sit in the middle of the gulf on the ship for 7 days we'd be happy :) Our Captain kept us out of the rough waters and that's all we can really hope for.

Ship: Adventure of the Seas

Departure Date: October 1, 2006

Islands Visited: Southern Caribbean - St. Thomas, St Maarten, St John's Antigua, St. Lucia, and Barbados. 7 night cruise.

Reason why cruising: My 30th Birthday, lower cruise fares, and I live in Rhode Island so it's my last treat before the cold sets in for the fall and long winter monthes! :) ~Valerie

We're doing two cruises in October.... :)

1. Sovereign

2. CocoCay & Nassau

3. October 16

and

1. Mariner

2. Labadee, Ochos Rios, Grand Cayman, Cozumel

3. October 22

October worked well for our schedules and we found great pricing. We talked about going on an anniversary trip in July, but it was going to cost us more for 7 nights on Sovereign in July than it will for 7 nights on Mariner AND 4 nights on Sovereign in October! We were also concerned that the weather would be too hot for us in July, October should be perfect!

I have a few questions for everyone cruising in the month of October.

1. What rccl ship are you cruising on? Serenade of the Seas

2. What islands are your ports? None. It's out of San Diego to Ensenada and Cabo.

3. What's the date of your cruise? Um. Without looking, I think it's October 16.

3. Why did you choose October to Cruise? "Because it's (Serenade) there." Burt Reynolds, "Deliverance." Or was it Jon Voigt? Either way, nasty movie.
