Carnival Celebration Power Outlets

A group of us will be sailing on the Carnival Celebration Sunday, February 05, 2023 To Sunday, February 12, 2023.

I found this on their website. However, when it states that there are three outlets on the desk, does that mean one North American, one Europe (German) and one Australian?

Also, with regards to the multiple USB outlets, does anybody happen to know what they are rated at? Are they just 1 amp or could they be 2.1/2.4 amps?

As much as I might like the convenience of the integrated USB ports, I might want to bring something so I can use the 220 volt (Europe/German-Style) outlet with my 110 volt North American devices.

Both my wife and I will each have a smartphone, tablet and headphones, so that is a lot of devices to charge!

"On all ships, each stateroom has one electric outlet located at the desk. The outlet is equipped with a 3-prong 110 volt (North America Grounded) and a 220 volt (Europe German-Style). On the Carnival Celebration, Carnival Jubilee and Mardi Gras, there are three outlets located at the desk.

On the Carnival Spirit and Carnival Splendor, the staterooms are fitted with a 3-prong 110 volt (North America Grounded) as well as a standard Australian 3-point plug; adaptors providing 220/240 volt 60Hz are available upon request.

On the Carnival Horizon, Carnival Panorama, Carnival Sunrise, and Carnival Vista, there is one USB outlet (5 volt, 1000mA) in each stateroom. On the Carnival Celebration, Carnival Jubilee and Mardi Gras, there are multiple USB outlets at the desk and next to the beds.

The outlet in the bathroom can only be used for electric razors.

Power strips, multi plug box outlets/adaptors and extension cords (without surge protectors) are allowed on board when used with proper caution. However, if such devices are determined to pose a hazard, they will be removed and returned the last day of the cruise prior to debark."

I believe the USB ports on the Mardi Gras are USB-A, 5V 1A and I doubt they'll change that for the Celebration because everything has already been set up for that spec. But yes as @vwrestler171said we will know for sure when Celebration sails next month.

If you need to charge devices faster (or if you want USB-C PD for a tablet or mirrorless camera etc, a mains to USB multi-tap is invaluable. Anker is one brand I highly recommend that makes things like this.
