Luggage transport to the airport

Hi we have a cruise out of ft Lauderdale in November.  Our return flight isn’t until mid to late afternoon.  I’m assuming we will be departing the ship by 9am at the latest.  Is there a way for princess to take our luggage to the airport for us while we go exploring?  We are assuming we can’t get into the airport until 4 hours prior to our flight.  Concerned about how to handle the luggage.  Thank you-

Princess does offer EZ Check at FLL and it is well worth it.  You need to go to GS when OB and ask for an EZ Check gorm to fill out.  It is $25 per person plus whatever your airline charges you for baggage fees.

Not all airlines participate. Nor International flights. We used Delta and it’s a great service.
Here’s one of the threads. Also probably a thread in the Florida departures.

  •  Not exactly the same topic but… Once you’re onboard see if there is an end of cruise tour that takes you to the airport. Sometimes there’s some tours that you put your luggage on the bus and then you go tour around FLL and then they drop you and your luggage off at the airport. ($60./ person)  usually for flights after 4 PM.
  • Or we have rented a car before and went  to lunch  & drove along the coast ,stopped at some beaches.
  • And the other thing that we’ve done in Fort Lauderdale is rent a day room when my husband wasn’t feeling good and we had a flight between 6 PM and 8 PM and the hotel included free transportation. So probably a few choices out there depending on what you want to do and what your budget is .
