HA and CPAP machines

My DH uses a CPAP machine.  How does this work on HA?  They are allowed, right?  Thanks!

Cpap's are not a problem.  My DH uses one and has not had any problems. We hand carry it on board to avoid damage.  On some ships there is no electrical receptacle near the bed and our room attendant runs an extension cord under the bed. You can order a gallon of distilled water prior to your cruise or request one after boarding.  Enjoy your cruise!

Ditto Ditto and we always bring the extension cord as we might need it in a hotel.

We've found that on some ships you can find an outlet behind the bed. It often has a bedside table lamp plugged into it so we have a European adapter that has a couple of plug-ins.

Depending on the ship, there might be power beside the bed.  The Pinnacle ships have that, don't remember if the Signature or Vista ships do.

Might I recommend you fill out the Special Requirements form?  It's located Right Here.  You'll need your booking number and last name.  From there, under the section "Respiratory needs" you can let them know he will be bringing a CPAP, and you can even request distilled water.  This may help prepare the staff a little better so that they can provide an extension cord as necesary.

On the Koningsdam there are bedside outlets - was able to use my CPAP machine without the need for an extension cord although I brought one just in case.

I know this is an older thread, but that you for the link.  Both my DH and I use Bi-paps and I was questioning what we would do needing two plugs
