In Alaska back in September, we ran by Fred Meyer in Juneau to buy Monster. Boarded the ship with at least 15 large cans of Monster without any issues. :) We all had princess plus, but some of us didn't care for Red Bull that's available on the ship.

I wouldn’t want to encourage non-conformity to the rules, but I was told at a meet & greet  that it was ok to check cans as long as they were in some type of container- not the box they come in with a label on them.

This has been discussed many times prior on these boards.  
Bottles are banned.   It was a change in the passenger contract after the restart after covid.  
 

Read the passenger contract you agreed to as part of your booking.  Its all in there.

Theoretically bottles could be opened and the contents replaced with alcohol while that is unlikely to happen with cans.
