Amenity Points?

I am looking at the new Sun itinerary for 2024 from the thread “Europe 2024 schedule released”

 

I noticed that the cruise I looking at say Initial Amenity Points - 4.

 

What does that mean?

It's for travel agencies.

I’ve only seen group amenities for travel agents mentioned.  Not sure why you would see that?  Unless your a TA, or this is something new.

TA's have a tendency to post internal notifications for public consumption on this site.

Or those of us who get that info from our TAs post it as it provides early pricing info before that info is available on the Princess website.

I believe Amenity points are when travel agents get group space. They can then get points where they can then turn the points to OBC, free bottle of wine, specialty dinner, etc. for those who book into the group space. So they become group perks.
