travellingnana Posted November 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2022 We will be using a Princess transfer for the first time on our next cruise…getting in a day early, then going back to the airport for the transfer. This will be in Houston if it makes a difference. Are the reps usually in the baggage claim area? Do they carry some sort of signage (like limo drivers)? How early should we plan on getting to the airport? Thanks!
NownZen Posted November 10, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 10, 2022 They are at the baggage claim and will have signs with the Princess logos on them. Normally they meet incoming flights so you might find out which flights have cruisers on them. But they are probably there most of the day. Do not plan to arrive at airport any later than 1:30 pm. If you arrive at the airport around 11:00 am that should work very well.

I’m even hoping we can get there earlier, and get out even sooner!

You can go to the baggage claim area earlier and look for the reps. If you arrive before the shuttle starts running they will let you know when the first one is and will let you know where to wait or meet. It’s about 90 minutes to the terminal depending on traffic. Earliest shuttle likely would be around 10:00 am.

pootsien2 Posted November 11, 2022 #9 Share Posted November 11, 2022 We stayed at the Marriott that is in the Houston Airport a few years before the Covid shut down. We really liked the convenience of taking the monorail from baggage claim to the hotel. At that time, there was a Princess Rep. in the lobby the morning of the cruise and we just had to check in with her there and the bus started there and then filled up the remaining seats at the airport. I wonder if they are still doing that? Someone should know!
Reina del Mar Posted November 11, 2022 #10 Share Posted November 11, 2022 Again..pre Covid…we stayed at the hotel and were picked up at the hotel. …was to Bayport at the time. Princess reps in arrivals area and in hotel. Depending on numbers, you could have a long coach journey as it might double back to airport to pick up further passengers,
