tkwbear Posted November 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2022 It’s 1:30 and no one has been allowed to board yet. No one here knows why. Do any of you know why? A guess would be a Coast Guard inspection.

tkwbear Posted November 15, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted November 15, 2022 No, that wasn’t us. The problem was an inspection. Even the back to back passengers weren’t allowed off until 1:45. I didn’t get on until 3:30 which included 30 minutes in the unventilated walkway. We sailed at 7:15.
shipgeeks Posted November 15, 2022 #4 Share Posted November 15, 2022 I thought maybe it was the guy who posted here recently, saying he wanted to stay on the ship as late as possible, not understanding that they have to "zero out" all passengers before they can even start the checkin process for the next sailing. tkwbear Posted November 15, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted November 15, 2022 Not this time. I’ve sailed with people like that, usually suite passengers who think they are above rules.

tkwbear Posted November 18, 2022 Author #8 Share Posted November 18, 2022 I talked to some passengers who were back to back from the previous cruise. According to them it was the stop in Columbia that triggered the inspection. I was not that excited about the Divina. It’s okay but not great. I much prefer Meraviglia and Poesia.
