Umbrella at half moon cay

It looks like carnival has sold out all of the umbrellas clamshells at half moon cay. Does anyone know if they rent regular umbrellas. Or has anyone brought an umbrella or tent canopy with you that you brought from home?

They do not have any other options. Sorry. As for bringing your own,I would imagine that if you head down the beach away from the crowds, you could find a spot. Kind of awkward to carry on though

We rented a clamshell at Half Moon Cay and it wasn't much use at all. The position of the sun was directly in front, which meant no shade, and it was oppressively hot in the clamshell.  For us it was a waste of money.

There are many spots at HMC down the beach that are well protected by pine trees.

You can position your chair to get decent sun protection for free and without struggling to bring your own umbrella.

I've seen people that bring their own beach umbrella.  Worked well for them.
