Is there a fee to use sail card in casino

If I charge money on my sail card in the casino is there an extra fee, like 3%

From what I could tell there was no fee. If you put $ in a slot machine via your players card it charges your room which charges the card you swipe at the kiosk when you board the ship. Same with all other transactions on board.

Also no fee at the tables, either. This is a great perk vs other lines I've played on that do charge the 3% fee (or they used to, haven't sailed them since I discovered MSC!).

Make sure the credit card you have attached to your room does not have a foreign transaction fee.  MSC generates credit card/cruise charges settlement costs from Italy.

Is this actually the case for US sailings?  I have no foreign transaction fees on the credit card we used out of port canaveral.

Maybe your credit card company doesn't charge the FTF.
