Dave Simpson Posted November 23, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2022 Travelling on celebrity over Christmas. Can I expect heavy play at the craps tables, like on a Carnival ship. How do they keep track of your craps play in terms of Blue Chip credits on future sailings etc.
cmaleblanc Posted November 23, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 23, 2022 When I was on the Apex in Feb, I played Craps every night after the late show, we had about 3-4 regular players, I only remember maybe one night out of my 7 night cruise that it was packed, but likewise only one night out of the 7 that I showed up and it was only me playing. I've never been on a Carnival ship, but I can say at least on the Apex, we had a steady group of players, some putting lots of money on the line. Mike45LC Posted November 24, 2022 #3 Share Posted November 24, 2022 They track your bets (ignoring your odds bets) — how much do you have on Pass/Don’t, how much you place, etc. They also track your buy-in, your walk-away chips. And squirreling doesn’t fool them much, because they also track your cage activity. I don’t think craps gets you rated as highly as slots or BJ. Or the various three card games. Dave Simpson Posted December 24, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted December 24, 2022 Do not go on celebrity if you like craps. $10 minimum and Double odds only, and they actually use dollar chips to pay off 6/8. You can’t even do a $6, 6/8 as they want $12 minimum. Carnival way better plus service and food better on carnival last month.
Dave Simpson Posted December 26, 2022 Author #5 Share Posted December 26, 2022 Do you need to join the blue chip program or do they auto enroll you with your sea pass card. Can you check how many pints you have at any time. If you play $25 BJ for 3 hours, what would that get you in points.
