Transportation from airport to hotel

We will be arriving at Barcelona airport the day before the cruise.  There will be 6 of us and all our luggage. We are looking for transportation to our hotel and then transportation to the ship the next day.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  We have never been to Barcelona.

taxis are readily available at the airport and your hotel can arrange a taxi to the port but these are options we have used to reserve in advance:

Only 2 of us to BCN.  We will use Uber from airport to hotel, then hotel to ship.

 

If you have Uber app:

 

Added all 3 to my saved places in account.  Started all 3 trips to get idea of prices.  Uber in Spain, I discovered, has yellow taxis with a fixed price from airport, along with metered taxis, Uber x, Uber xl, larger vehicles etc.  Prices seem very reasonable.

Six first-timers with luggage- train is not an option, even Metro would be problematic. Taxi is by far best option.
