Shorts ok in the MDR on a summer Med cruise?

We're going on a Med cruise this summer.  It's typically hot in the Med during summer, and we'll be wearing shorts.  Is it ok to wear them in the MDR or am I going to have to change to long pants?  We'll be on the Getaway if it makes a difference.

Absolutely fine in Taste and Savor.

 

In the aft MDR it depends on the ship. I’m not sure whether the Getaway is one that allows shorts or not.

Normally, the Getaway only requires gents to wear trousers (jeans are fine) in Le Bistro and Ocean Blue. Most of the time, shorts are fine in the Tropicana Room, Taste and Savor Main Dining Rooms.
