doug618 Posted November 26, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2022 Hi All- How easy it for to get an Uber or Lyft pickup at the Port of Miami when arriving back as opposed to scheduling one in advance? Since we don't know exact timing on when we will be getting off the shift, scheduling in advance is tricky. What have other people done? Thanks -Doug
uprivermama Posted November 30, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2022 The earlier you disembark the easier it is to get uber/lyft. We've never had to wait more than 5-10 min when we self-debark and get off the ship as early as possible. We've never scheduled on in advance; I think that would be tough since you never know what hold ups there may be w/ customs and other odd situations that arise. ballarinamom Posted November 30, 2022 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2022 (edited) Is there a flat fee for taxis from the POM to the airport? I know they generally tend to be lined up and ready to go Edited November 30, 2022 by ballarinamom
Rare PATRLR Posted November 30, 2022 #4 Share Posted November 30, 2022 We got off Encore on Nov 20 around 9:30 and I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes for our Uber.

Do you recall approx how much it cost from Port of Miami to the Miami airport at that early in the morning? Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. You can do a mock booking to see what the fare is that day. Cab should be about $30+ on the meter and Uber/Lyft should be a few dollars less.
