Interesting Observation on Apex.

Hi all,

 

Not sure if anyone else noticed or posted about this beforehand, and if that is the case I apologize. I’m on the Apex in a Sky Suite now, and the Retreat Hosts are once again referred to as Butlers instead of Hosts. Does anyone know long this has been the case for?

We got off the Apex a week ago and they were calling them Butlers.

Our first hand experience is that the former "Personal Retreat Hosts" are being referred to as butlers on other ships as well.  And others have posted about this change back to butler as well.

I believe they were called Butlers on our November 2021 Summit cruise; definitely on our mid-August on Summit.

For my DH and I, they were refered to as Retreat Concierges and never butlers.  However, they seem to be doing the same job regardless of their titles.  We worked quite a lot with Paolo(sp) onboard Apex for its recent TA, but we had a variety of experiences.  I never thought anything of it either way, TBPH.
