Apex Cabana or Retreat?

I am going with a group of 7 and am trying to decided if we can all find space together on the retreat sundeck or if the cabana would be a better spot to all be together?

The Retreat is for suites only.  If the 7 of you are all in suites, I would definitely try to get together in The Retreat since it is included.  You can always rent a cabana if you can't find good spaces in The Retreat.

FWIW...cabanas are a max of 4 people. I wouldn't nearly double the capacity and expect the attendant to serve everyone.

I am trying to decide the same thing for our group of 4.   We are in suites but wondering if it will be hard to find 4 loungers near each other for a sea day.  

 

I was wondering if I could reserve it pre-cruise for the last day and cancel and get our ship credit back when we board if the retreat has good availability on the first couple days.

Yea I was just looking for my group I would have to get 2 and they look to be separated so it defeats the purpose of being together

The cabanas are along the walkway facing the Magic Carpet with no sun or loungers - were mostly empty on our sailings this summer.

Having seen the cabanas I’d Stick to the retreat. There were lots of available sun loungers on our sailing in October. However the retreat wasn’t full so I’m certain that would have made some difference.

Never understood the cabana, doesn't seem appealing at all

Thanks everyone! I think will take our chances in the Retreat. It seems like we usually change seats several times during the day anyway chasing sun or shade.
