Dining reservations for My Time Dining

Sailing on the Symphony in Feb. I noticed they started taking My Time reservations on the app. Earliest time for most days seems to be 7:00pm.

Does that really mean that earlier slots are already booked-up months in advance? Or do they lock some time slots until the ship actually sails?

There are no earlier slots.

The entire MDR is now used for early traditional dining, then once the early diners leave they start opening up the tables for MTD.

That can happen a bit earlier than 7, so you might get seated around 6.30/6.45 if you’re lucky, but if you want to eat any earlier you need to go for traditional dining.
