Request Table for Two

You can ask for anything specific - they are usually pretty good at accommodating.

Solo cruiser here and I always request a table for 2 (for just me) a couple of weeks before sailing .  On some ships I get the same table and request it by table number

Omg for the last 2 cruises I never got a reply back. -explorer and freedom- but the request was granted. I always got a reply but not this time.
