Californian Posted December 4, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 4, 2022 I have a lot of OBC. We want to get the 4-device internet plan. I believe that it is $70 for a 7 day cruise. Can we wait to buy it on embarkation day so that we can use our OBC or will it cost more once we are onboard? Thanks in advance for your assistance. Rare Rick&Jeannie Posted December 4, 2022 #2 Share Posted December 4, 2022 You can definitely wait but it will be more expensive onboard.
Rare Rick&Jeannie Posted December 4, 2022 #3 Share Posted December 4, 2022 Given that you "have a lot of OBC" does it really matter to you that it's a bit more since it's "free money"?
Rare Shelly97060 Posted December 4, 2022 #4 Share Posted December 4, 2022 Not sure when you are sailing but after Feb 20, 2023 the price is going up to $15 per day for a single device and $40 a day for four device plan ( before platinum/ elite discount). This may factor into your decision.

Do not count on receiving the pre-cruise price on board - even on embarkation day. As for the new pricing coming next Feb, Princess has not announced what the on-board cost will be. Who knows? Perhaps they will maintain the same price. (Note that when new (current) MedallionNet plans were announced, Princess never did publish the pricing. They had to be asked for it and it took a couple of contacts to get it clarified. And then wait for confirmation from guests booking or going on a cruise). Californian Posted December 4, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted December 4, 2022 I think you can log off your iPad and then log in on your iPhone for the one device plan. I also think that if you you log into your iPhone while still logged on your iPad, it will knock you off the iPad. I'm not on Princess Plus, so I want the convenience of having both logged on for both me and SO.

Lagalag18 Posted December 4, 2022 #8 Share Posted December 4, 2022 Yes, WiFi price is going up $20 a day for Elite in 2023. Princess is charging me $659.67 (up to 4 devices) for 33 days cruise on pre-purchase. It’s normally 25% more expensive if you buy it onboard.
