Wellness check and other pre-cruise essentials

Hi all, we are flying in the day before for our cruise out of Brazil.  It’s our first cruise in a while and we want to make sure we’re doing everything we can to get on board and have a smooth cruise.

We noticed that the online checkin will be finalized when we have the wellness check.  Any idea what exactly this means?  We are obviously concerned that we will get there and be denied boarding, especially after flying in and all that comes with it.  Are we just being paranoid?

Also, besides bringing the printed tickets, our passports, and vaccine cards, anything else we should be bringing/doing to make sure we get on smoothly?

Thank you so much!

The wellness check is few questions that you answer as the last step in online check-in.  They are available to answer within 24 hours of your cruise.  Simple questions like are you vaccinated, had booster, are you 23 weeks or pregnant, have you had fever, cold flu, coughing sneezing, etc in the past 7 days.
