2ladies Posted March 7, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 7, 2006 If you want to use the penny machines go first evening. After that there will be a line - and there's always the slot 'hog'!!!!
Danno Posted March 7, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 7, 2006 One day I'm going to figure out what people see in slots...naaaa, probably not.
tserface Posted March 7, 2006 #7 Share Posted March 7, 2006 One day I'm going to figure out what people see in slots...naaaa, probably not. Especially penny slots. Sheesh, you can win what, like $1.50 if you hit the big one :o) I think this is how some people get their exercise and it's kind of brainless gambling that is even easier than bingo. Also, you can smoke in there all you want and no one can give you any grief. Tom

thomasale Posted March 7, 2006 #9 Share Posted March 7, 2006 I just don't get the slots...and when you look at the players it looks like they are all going to a funeral or something like it
dkjretired Posted March 7, 2006 #10 Share Posted March 7, 2006 Its like everything else in life, some people like it, others don't. Personally, I don't get the whole wine thing but thats me. I wouldn't pass judgement on someone because they are a wine connoisseur and I don't pass judgement on people gambling. Slot machines can be a lot of fun because of the variations on the different machines.

frchteaze Posted May 25, 2006 #20 Share Posted May 25, 2006 Was the machine in the church lobby? I noticed that too. Only in a gambling town do you hear church and gambling in the same sentence without a hellfire and damnation behind it. :p

It doesn't have to be a gambling town for church and gambling to meet.
