My husband and I are supposed to be sailing this Friday on a club Royale casino comped cruise. My mom was supposed to watch our son and she is sick and cannot so it looks like we can’t go. We cashed in Bank of America points to put a 300 dollar onboard credit on our account. Can we get those put back on our card?

I believe someone on here a while back said they could go back onto your card. I would give a call to BOA and see about this.  Would be very disappointing if RCCL gave them to you in OBC.

I think Funky is right.  the 300.00 will go back onto your credit card as a credit.  So technically your points are gone but you got the cash instead.

I called BOA and they said I just would lose the 300 dollars.

No, it's sold out of three person cabins and my mom is ill.  I don't want to leave her.  We canceled.  It's a bummer but it is what it is.  I called back and spoke to a very nice supervisor and she is going to see if she can help given our situation.

Think you may have gotten erroneous advice above.  Call Royal and they should be able to apply it to the next cruise you have booked.  If you currently do not have anything booked, this may not apply.  Come back and report how it works out.

We had to miss a B2B in Sept. and had quite a bit of OBC from BOA.  Ours was moved to our next booked cruise.

I believe they are returned to points on BOA.
During Covid, that is what happened to us.
