Rare 0106 Posted January 2, 2023 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2023 Copied from @FlaMariner post: 888.628.8107 But you must follow the rules.... 1. Have booking number 2. Have credit card 3. Have deck plan 4. Be ready to make a decision (calling back after checking w/the spouse may mean not available anymore)
Rare VMax1700 Posted January 2, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 2, 2023 1.888.628.8107 or 206.626.7381 If you are within 2 weeks (=/-) of sailing. Have credit card ready and know how much you are prepared to pay.

2LoveBikes Posted January 3, 2023 #6 Share Posted January 3, 2023 Does anyone have any experience booking an upgrade with that number and if the rates are discounted closer to the sailing date?
Rare 0106 Posted January 3, 2023 #7 Share Posted January 3, 2023 The closer you get to sailing , the more the rates are discounted BUT the less likely you are able to get the upgrade you are seeking.
DaveOKC Posted January 3, 2023 #8 Share Posted January 3, 2023 Generally speaking, the upsells go out 2-4 weeks prior to sailing. Prior to that time you likely will just be quoted the regular price. You might alert your TA that you are interested in upsells, as the notice for them goes to the TA, not you, unless you booked directly through HAL. Once the mass mailing of upsells goes out, people jump on them and the best cabins go quickly. If the cruise is selling well, there may only be a few cabins available and thus the offer can go quickly (one time I was involved with one that went within 10 minutes! Further, I have seen offers go out around the 4 week mark that were not very good so I passed. Two weeks later I received a MUCH better offer which I accepted. So, know what your price point is to you and be ready to move quickly if you get it. Also know what cabins you would be interested in.
