VIFP points for multiple cabins?

If I book two cabins for a 7 day cruise, can I get 14 points on my VIFP? Carnival seems to automatically create a VIFP number for whoever I put as the first person in the second cabin.

The VIFP points go to the passenger that is sailing, not the passenger that is paying. Every passenger gets their own VIFP number.

Not Payer?  Or Purchaser?  Just kidding.  Seriously, though, If I could have gotten VIFP points for all the cruises I've paid for for family members over the years, I'd be Diamond by now.😜  But I think the way Carnival assigns the points makes perfect sense.

Yep and I believe airlines do the same thing with frequent flier miles- each traveler gets the miles, not the person paying for the flights.
