Rare foodsvcmgr Posted January 5, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2023 If Celestyal’s investors are serious about upgrading their fleet, AIDAaura will be available this Fall. Similar size to Olympia and 20 years newer. Seems like a no brainer, but of course so did Costa NeoRomantica and we all know how that ended, just not exactly why. manhk Posted January 9, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2023 Just heard it through the grapevine, they might be buying two newer old ships. Better luck this time around than the last.

Rare foodsvcmgr Posted February 23, 2023 Author #5 Share Posted February 23, 2023 As I previously stated, this is the ship size and amenity wise that makes the most sense for Celestyal to grow or upgrade their fleet. I wish them the best with this acquisition and will be interested to try the product if they deploy her on Three Continents itineraries.

Much probably the new Journey will replace Crystal already from this season (second part of summer)

We are doing a 14 day cruise embarking on March 24th on the Journey (former HAL Ryndam). Really looking forward to it, as the Ryndam was our first cruise (Alaska) back in 1998.
