Jask's Shack vs Margaritaville

We will be in Grand Turk in April with a group of friends. We will be the first of 2 ships getting to port. We loved our time at Senior Frogs in Nassau. 

 

Which one do you recommend for this trip?

If you like the "party" atmosphere at Sr Frogs, then Margaritaville over Jacks or the Beached whale (on the other side of the pier) is for you. There's nothing to compare in GT.  Even in the "old" days, before Jack turned it over to his local partner, Jacks was never a real "party" beach bar.

I agree.  But if you want a more laid back day, Jack’s is a good place to hang out.   Lots of crew has been there both times we gone and there is usually a volleyball game.

Jacks!  Support the local businesses.  Food and drinks are fantastic!

So does Jack's Shack still have the dogs running free?  My kids are dying to go back and play with the dogs 🙂

There were a couple pf dogs around in January.  Not sure if they are Jack's dogs or just strays.  Topper died awhile back and I think Jack took the other dog  back to Canada with them.

Dumb question, I know, but does Jack's accept cc?  Trying to figure out how much actual cash to bring and where...

We were there last week.

 

The dogs that are there now were strays. There was just one and it ignored most folks.

 

Yes, they take credit cards.

in March there were two strays there.  One spent the day under our chairs, hanging in the shade.  They weren't very interactive but didn't mind getting some love.
