Classic to Premium upgrade cost 5 nt cruise

Sailing on Summit 2/06. What is the cost to upgrade from Classic to Premium on a 5 night cruise ?  Is there a discount for Elite ?

Call X if you want exact pricing and discount, that is your best bet...

Yes there is an Elite discount.  I believe for Elite it is 10%.

if you look at your cruise planner you will find the cost of each package, the difference is the cost to upgrade plus 20% gratuity less your discount.

Upgrade cost is $20/pp * 5 days * 18% gratuity - 10% Elite discount......

so 20*5*1.18*.9 = $106.20 per person

 

But, you have to call to upgrade as you can't do it online. And if you wait to upgrade onboard, you won't get the CC discount.

And......they "say" the gratuity is 20%, but we recently upgraded and they only charged us 18%. YMMV

When I upgraded they used the prices in the pre-cruise price which  is Premium $98.99 and Classic $80.99 so it was $18 + gratuity less 10%

The price to upgrade went from 15 to 20 recently. How long ago did you upgrade?

We upgraded at the $15 price point, but others on these boards are reporting $20 in 2023.

 

You'd have to call to know if you could get $18 or if they would charge you $20.
