Ice cream flavors

I saw on a previous thread that to save money NCL now only offers vanilla and chocolate.

Was this humor or real? I don't care because I always have chocolate but if it wasn't humor

On the Jewel last week, there would be a small sign posted advertising the three ice cream flavors of the day.  I never checked so maybe that means in addition of the basic flavors.  I just use the soft serve machines frequently.

The Breakaway two weeks ago had 6 different hard scooped ice cream flavors available in the buffet each day.  Variety  did change day to day, but always had vanilla & chocolate.  Saw several flavors like Mango, Strawberry, Dulce and others.   Also enjoyed Rocky Road & Rum Raisin 😋

I never asked for ice cream, but at the buffet, I noticed eight separate gallon tubs of hard ice cream every time I passed by. This was on the 12/31 - 1/8 Getaway sailing. The chocolate/vanilla/twist was available at the soft serve machine.

Yes, after talking with DH, I need to revise my post above to eight separate flavors at the lunch buffet each day!  We are thinking one or two of them were NSA....and therefore not as memorable as Rocky Road🤔

I do recall a cruise a couple of years ago that had Butter Pecan every day.  Server said it was the Captain's favorite....we loved it too😊
