Did you get a drink card with your MyVegas booking? TIA!

This is my 2nd CAS NCL cruise.  I received a card on ship last month (1st), but no card in casino envelope on this cruise.  I played very little on last cruise.

Were you guys able to use the Casino line when embarking? Did they check status or indicate you have to be pearl or above?

We did not as we are platinum and elected to go that route while checking in.

Hello everyone, I am doing some research for our 1st NCL cruise in 2025.  We have sailed before but never on NCL.  I know this sounds greedy but just want to get some clarification.  I am eligible for the $750 discount through MyVegas, we can purchase the Cruise First certificate and we have enough shares for OBC.  My question is, are all of these combinable?  Thanks for any insite you can offer.

I’ve done that combo multiple times and even added the Amex Offers pts/dollars back on top of it. There’s a current Amex Offers available. I got get $200 back on $1000 spend. And this one can be used multiple times on the same booking when you pay with different cards that have the offer.

I’ve been told no when I tried to add another casino partner’s promo. I tried to add the Caesars Rewards Diamond percent off perk. I was told it’s only one casino partner per booking.

For Manhattan NY a few days ago, once I got past security which only had Haven and not Haven lines and they didn't check boarding times, I used the casino line. The usher didn't check my boarding pass at all. The sign didn't say Pearl or above. I couldn't tell if the agent did anything with the casino status because they processed the Latitudes priority and casino lines together.

But after that, we still waited to board the ship and casino seemed to be behind Latitudes people. It was kind of a ship show on this boarding.

I don't know how they do it if many more people are there and everything's backed up.

Next time I'll....

Ignore the boarding time and get there early to get through security ASAP.

Use the casino line if it seems shorter than Latitudes (I'm Shapphire).

Board the ship with the group that goes first. (Casino or Shapphire but I'm guessing Latitudes).

Realize the MyVegas discounts are currently ONLY good on 2024 sailings.

I got that a few months back. So it depends on what you mean by "new" but yeah it wasn't there before.

I just read the fine print of the reward and it states you cant purchase it in a rolling 30 days window. Doesn't say anything about 180 days.

They aren't very good with details and consistency. They are a good match for NCL.

On the myVIP site it says:

"NCL - Evergreen Campaign rewards are limited to 1 purchases in a 180 day period."

and for the same reward says this in the Terms and Conditions:

"Limited to one Norwegian Cruise Line reward in-app purchase every 60 days. "

I wouldn't be surprised if at some point they allow the purchase before 180 days. For me, I'm just going to periodically try and hope NCL lets me use it if I get one.

I received the 180 days error and was told I had to wait until May 2025 to purchase another award.  Support told me I cannot PURCHASE another award until 180 days after my current cruise reservation (in Nov 2024).  I don't see this restriction documented anywhere and it certainly makes no sense.  I could move my reservation and use the certs now in May and then purchase another 750 voucher for use in Novemeber before my current reservation OR I can wait and purchase my next voucher in May 2025????   I certaily hope refresh of rewards to new booking dates resets this undocumented restriction.

It sounds like you're drawing a distinction between the reservation sail date vs. reward "purchase" date vs redemption date. This is typical myVEGAS. They have done the same for RCL comp cruises and those predates the recent NCL ones.

I've given up trying to time the rewards. I just get what I can and book right away because this kind of thing comes up. The downside is you can't maximize your value sometimes. I book a comp cruise only to have a better one come up shortly later but I'm in that dreaded 180 day period.
