You can buy $500 OBC. On the last day or the night before, go to guest services and cash out remaining balance or the full $500. No fee.

The T&C say new reservation but it seems pointless if final payment isn't due yet.

Looks like the money off rewards are back.  All 3 the $250, $500 & $750 but now it says the reward is only applied to the person redeeming it & only 1 reward per cruise reservation.  So seems they have cracked down & you can no longer use 1 per person.

My experience with Playstudios is they or their partners don't always hold themselves to the terms. You can try to get another reward and redeem it but you risk wasting points if you can't get a refund. While you have the reward you could be missing out on other rewards. I panicked when I saw the giftcards available in Tetris and purchased $10 Cheesecake Factory and $10 Google Play giftcards only to see the ones I really wanted (AMC and Amazon) available the next day. Too bad you're limited to 2 giftcards every 14 days.

when you booked using that reward did it show up on your invoice. they claimed to use it but I don't see anythign confirming they did. under the promo codes i dont see any code that is for it and theres no discount

If I already have a cruise booked and payed in full for December 30th,  could I use this as On board credit or to upgrade my room?   I would love to be able to find a way to use it.

I don't see the discount code, the only place I see it is under Guest Fare under Guest 1, it is 750 less than guest 2.

Booked Alaska today using mine and husband's $750 off rewards. Was also able to use his military discount and cruise first cert. I really wanted to go to Alaska in August but with these savings I had to book now and not take a chance these rewards would show up again next year.

I am guessing no but haven't tried.  It says new bookings, but it never hurts to call and ask.

The free cruises through NCL charge an additional $20/day per person admission fee. I much prefer the $750 off rewards.

We have done it both ways and the $ 750 off is a better deal.

I just used one $750 off to book a solo cruise and the rep did mention the sail date of May 31 2024 in the terms. This was a reward I got back in 11/30. My sailing was right before that so it worked out. I don’t know what the reward terms say now or how strict or consistent the reps are with it.

 

For anyone wondering, still no admin fees and I used a $500 Cruisefirst certificate. I even added half off airfare. I also expect to get $200 back from an Amex offer and $250 OBC from the shareholder benefit for this 14+ day cruise.

 

No “free” NCL cruise rewards yet but this makes it 3 $750 off and 1 $500 off cruise. On the Royal side, I’ll be up to 4 free cruises since I started cruising with them a few years ago. My goal is to make diamond entirely with myVEGAS “free” cruises.

I've done this twice since the new wording. They still allow a reward from 2 separate accounts in 1 cabin.
