Does anyone know if you can use the ncl shareholder obc with the cruise first & $750 off myvegas discounts?

I saw someone said they did it with the myvegas discount but was wondering if combined with cruise first if you still can.

Yes. Basically it's just a casino discount. So you can't use one casino discount with a different casino discount but everything else applies. CruiseFirst/CruiseNext subject to their terms (e.g. you can't mix the two and sometimes you can double or triple up on CruiseNext), percentage/dollar off coupons/certificates, shareholder OBC, other promos (Free at Sea, regular sales and promos). My cruise had the $750 off, CruiseFirst, and Shareholder OBC. I couldn't add the Caesars Rewards 20% off for Diamond at Caesars since that's discount from another casino. What's interesting is people have been able to use $750 off from two different people. I guess because they are both under a casino booking by Playawards. Someone asked if you can do a $750 off with a myVEGAS comp cruise. I don't think we got an answer on that. Also, if you can do more than two different people with myVEGAS rewards.

You'll be my hero if you can do a myVEGAS comp cruise with 4 $750 off rewards (maybe more if you can get more people in a cabin/suite). Anyone want to try? I guess at that point you might as well book separate cabins.

That is the million dollar (or should I say Million LP) question right now. I think everyone is hesitant to give it a try.

I just booked another cruise with the $750 off before the 180 days but I'm not 100% sure others will be able to do it. It seems like they can't do it directly and there's some manual work. I didn't mention I booked back in Jan with the $750. I just let them try it and it worked but that's after I got off the call and they had some other department do the $750 off. What happened was they did the booking without it and said they would apply the $750 off within 24 hours. Less than an hour later I got another confirmation with the fare adjusted to account for the coupon. No mention of it being $750 off which makes me think it's some manual/override thing they do.

I'm putting this in the YMMV bin. It's possible to get a points refund from Playstudios but sometimes they deny you a few times before you get someone who will do it. I'd love to hear from others who try it.

Glad you had success... I'm hoping that it is thanks to the terms reverting back to the way they were originally and not a glitch. just watch it, because that sounds fairly similar to by booking when I tried to book my second time. it didn't go through, so they did some manual adjustments to make it work (this was all while on the phone though, it was a 2.5hour call) but then a week later, one day before final payment I got a call saying that Playstudios kicked it back because of the 180 rule. NCL was actually super understanding an was willing to extend a comp seven day offer that I already had with them to 9 days so that I wasn't out the extra money. But, I already had plans for it so I ended up just paying out of pocket.

i redeemed a $500 MyVegas voucher and had my existing booking transferred from my normal NCL agent to the PlayAwards rep

my original fare (for 2 with air) was $3,475

now after the Play booking the total is $3,200

the biggest difference seems to be i lost the 10% off past guest credit and the 2nd passenger fee went up $100

does this seem correct? or should i call back? (the $500 voucher only took off a net of $275)

We got off NCL Jewel today. I used the AMEX offer to buy $1000 onboard credit certificate. I was able to use this credit to pay gratuity. And on the last night, I was able to get back the remaining ~$700 in cash at the atrium main service desk. Saved another $250 from an already great deal

I can't find any reference to 180 days in the t&Cs, where is it?

It would only cover the subtotal.

if I use a cruisefirst certificate, which of the 3 will be covered?

gov, tax, open bar, specialty dinning?

Thanks you.

It covers all of those. It also covers air, transportation, and admin fees. CruiseNext does the same. Right now there’s a promo for $500 certs for $250 each. Check the terms to make sure you can use the cert on the cruise you want.

Sorry for the delay just got back from a 7 day on the escape. when the NCL promos came out a few months ago there was nothing in the T&C that mentioned 180 day between redeeming. but about a month in after a refresh it started to creep into most of the games, however it never seemed to make it onto the rewards posted through FB. Now it seems the language about 180 days has been removed, but no one can confirm if that was a change to the T&C or if during another refresh Play studios just uploaded the original language by mistake. the difficult thing with PS if you have ever had to deal with trying to get a refund is they will not budge from the pre-written email responses when you open a support ticket, so there is no way to get clarification or a clear answer. there is also always a sentence in the T&C of all of the rewards stating that rules and terms can be updated at any time without notification. this pretty much gets them off Scott free to be able to do whatever they want.

If you are on FB there is a MyVegas Cruise group which we use to talk about the NCL rewards alot. you can check that out in addition to here, if you want more info.

Anyone know when the NCL discount rewards are coming back? Can only see the $750 off one which is of course sold out.

I am wondering that too. I actually had a $500 off reward that I let expire. Before they stopped offering the $250 and $500 rewards you did have to sail by December 31, 2023. Now all I see is the AK cruises and a AK VIP one they just added. Personally I wish MSC would return with their offers as I had 2 30% off rewards I able to use.

I still see the $750 available during the daily refresh times. You might need to keep checking 5-10 minutes after to see it restocked since the times aren’t exact and might be slightly different depending on the game and platform.

I booked an Alaska cruise about 2 weeks ago and was amazed at what I could redeem.  I have a $250 playstudios certificate, and I was able to combine it with a 50% off coupon from NCL for Alaska sailings on the Sun, and a $250 cruise next.  I was charged an $89 admin fee.  At the end of the day, I paid less than $500 (all in) for 9 nights, solo inside cabin, with Free at Sea promo
