My wife and I each bought the 750.00 off coupon hoping to use both coupons on the same cruise. NCL casino said no today. They say we would have to buy two separate cruises. Bummer, this could get expensive.

I was able to use two $750 off coupons for a single room. The phone agent was helpful and had no issues at all

I booked one of the "free" cruises and they did charge the $20/day administration fee plus standard taxes.  So $267 while online shows $1625 without drinks, plus gratuities due on both.

It was a 40 minute phone call, no single supplement, yes free drinks in the casino.  I declined the free at sea promos with an upcharge so only took 75 minutes of internet and $50 credit per excursion.  I also submitted the shareholder form online from which they added my OBC in three days.

How long is it taking you to get that many points? Any tips/tricks?  I don't gamble, but a $750 off with some effort, seems like a no brainer.

Thinking about snatching the $750, but concerned about this administration fee.  Anybody have the correct info?  I do not have any other vouchers to redeem.

The admin fee is for the "free" cruises. there are no admin fees for the 250/500/750 off vouchers.

How did you get so many points?

By playing all 6 myVegas apps to their full daily points limits, you can earn roughly 35,000 Loyalty Points per day.

There are six games in total that collect loyalty points (LPs) through myVEGAS. you can earn LPs in various ways in the different games, however the primary way is through playing, or by having the games open and allowing the game timers to run if you use an android smart device.

The six games are:

myVEGAS Classic (available through FB), my KONAMI Slots (available through FB and mobile), myVEGAS Bingo (mobile), myVEGAS Blackjack (mobile) POP! Slots (mobile), and MGM Slots Live (mobile)

There is a maximum number of LPs that can be earned in each game, with different re-set times for each game as well as different re-sets if you are on PC, iPhone, or an Android device. There are a ton of FB groups as well as how to groups available on the internet. my best suggestion is to read a lot about it and if you are a regular cruiser look into ways to maximize the number of points that you earn each day. this can me done by running a program on your computer that mimics android phones and you can have all six games running at once collecting points.

If done correctly, you can easily earn the 35K LPs that gsalbato referenced. the max with level ups and bonuses is actually closer to 48.5K, but that takes constant work.

I can manage just under a million LPs a month. This has translated to tons of free cruises on Royal, MSC, & NCL. not to mention free rooms in Vegas as well as tons of other discounts and rewards.

Thanks I totally missed that, last night I was reading and working on my own strategy.  This is super helpful.  Thank you!

Looks like they are throwing in big with NCL. They also have a group cruise offered to certain players along with some contests.

Three million points for a 4 day cruise?!?! No airfare. They’re making it sound like it’s a lot better than a regular free cruise.

They do throw in airfare for some of the contests but the fees they have you pay for winning are a joke: https://www.playstudios.com/rules/ I wonder how many winners actually go through with it.

I already used the $750 off reward so it looks like I have to wait 180 days to get another one. By then I should have plenty of points. I might go for a “free” cruise as long as I can pile on a $500 CruiseFirst, Shareholder OBC, and even an Amex offer.

No kidding about the number of Loyalty points required. that is a lot for just a four day cruise. But I feel like they are likely trying to charge a premium because it is a VIP meetup rather than just a regular cruise. In my opinion at least, with so many new players and the fact that with six games and the changes to android rules you can essentially farm close to a million points a month, they just keep raising the redemption cost to see how many points players are willing to spend.

The fees however are all being charged by NCL and match a mock booking when you break them down. You can decline the Free Bev package if you don't drink (but at only $21 per day why would you😁) as well as remove the daily service charge if you prefer to tip individually. This will reduce the fees by a fairly large amount.

Govt, port, tax = $215.84pp

Open Bar Grat = $87.20pp

Spec. Dining Grat = $10.00pp

Daily Service Charge = $80.00pp

Casino Admin Fee = $80.00pp

that is the same $473.04 they are quoting

myVegas has thrown in a few small extra things which are nice. The welcome breakfast the morning of the cruise. Transportation from the breakfast to the port. Priority embarkation. $50.00 OBC per person & entry to a slot tournament.

If it didn't mean that I would have to fly in, I would look at it for sure!!

Thanks for the breakdown. They could’ve just thrown in a $500 Amazon giftcard to offset it. Some of the contests have $500 airfare.

By the way, it sounds similar to the myKONAMI Does Mexico 7 day group cruise on Royal back in November out of Los Angeles. Fees and daily tips were $235. Free drinks at the casino bar, tips not included. They also had events throughout with drinks. If I remember correctly it was only 2.5 million points which is a bargain for a seven day without even considering a myVIP group cruise. It’s probably easier to get people away for four days over a weekend instead of seven.

If they offered it out of L.A. and it isn’t subject to the 180 day restriction I would definitely do it. I would also try to add a CruiseFirst or CruiseNext and Shareholder OBC.

Thanks for all your tips and suggestions.  You are the man! I only started doing this three days ago.  I'm running Android emulator on my PC and checking it a few times a day.  Only some of the apps will "time out", so I got a macro mouse recorder.  The only problem is sometimes they will randomly crash.  But maybe 15 minutes worth of work a day for about 30,000 points.  I travel with NCL a lot and I don't gamble so this is a money saver for me.  I just went on one in Feb and had Amex Promo + Stock credit, so the cruise it self was decent deal.  I also got another in May, which was decent. I did the cruisefirst several months ago.  Funny too, been on like 12 NCL cruises and never have done cruisenext.  Anyway, thanks again.. keep me posted on your bookings, I am curious how the process goes.  I was thinking of just doing doing the $750 off, but some of the free cruises seem to align with my  / wife work schedule.. so will see.

Thanks also for your help too. How do you know what ship that cruise is.. the prices you posted are what you should expect to pay for the "free 7 day?" is a balcony? at least.  I'm wondering if the $750 is a better value for me, I don't have nearly enough points yet, but just planning ahead.

A lot of the one way Alaska cruises just appeared. Seven days on the Jewel or Spirit. These are the ones they seem to have trouble filling since I noticed the solo supplement has been dropped too. For solo, it might mean the $750 off is a better deal? I’m curious to see what flights with NCL are costing people. Are you able to get the “free” airfare deal? For solo, this would be half off.

Yes you can use the airfare deal with this, and you are correct that it would be half off for solo. All of the cruises posted are one way from either Vancouver or Alaska, so the airfare is going to be more than the Seattle RT cruises. if you have sailed NCL in the past it is also worth checking your account as you may have an Alaska discount coupon. I just booked a nine day on the sun visiting Alaska out of Seattle.

The terms just changed on the coupons limiting redemption to once every 180 days so I lost one of my coupons, but for those that have not claimed one yet, you can really maximize the deals if you take advantage of all of them.

  • 2x - $750 off MYvegas (if traveling with a guest who also has their own account and redeemed, otherwise just one coupon)
  • Additional 20% off or 50% off NCL coupon depending on ship and sale
  • $500 (or $300) off CruiseFirst (or two $250 CruiseNext) when booking is still 120 days out
  • Amex $350 off $1000 NCL purchase (if Available)

If I had been able to use the second $750 coupon I would have ended up with a BB - Balcony room including Airfaire, All in for about $1700. suggested retail was closer to $7500 and realistic cost a little under 4k. Plus almost all cruises through the end of 2023 are Double Lat point bonus so it also gets 3 lat points per night.

Am I correct that you have to book directly with NCL to use a $ off myVegas reward? If so, is it possible to transfer during or after booking to an airline "agency" to get their benefits? Thanks.

This is a question that has come up a few times regarding any sort of Casino At Seas (CAS) booking, and so far I have been unable to find a hard answer either way. Because all CAS bookings charge the remaining portion of the base fare under a heading of "admin fee" there may not be any commissionable fare for the TA to get if the reservation were transferred. From the info I have gathered, it does sound as though it would be technically possible, however you may have trouble finding a travel agent that is willing to take the booking. If there is no $$ left for them to make they likely aren't going to accept the reservation. I also doubt they would award any of the extra perks which are a hard cost to them.

Please report back if you give it a try or get any info yourself. it is something that I have wondered for a while now, but all of my cruises since COVID have either had FCC or another payment which has eliminated my ability to try and transfer the booking.

so I checked in to my cruise on the 9th.. and the cruisedocs have the casinos at sea logo… does this mean I have to use the casinos at sea check in line, or do I use the latitudes line still since I am platinum?

yes.. since you have to call the Casinos at Sea line to book..  my cruisedocs say booked through Playstudios.. I doubt this can get transferred since playstudios has to pay ncl something

$500 CruiseFirst for $250 right now for a limited time! Check the terms to make sure you really want one. I'm definitely getting at least one.

Where did you see it? I'm only seeing the $300 right now, even though at the top of the NCL page makes mentions the $250 free credit.
